Dr. Chioma Ibezim has an unquenchable zeal to make a difference in the society. Her unflagging belief in the youth is evident in her role as the Executive Counsellor of the Pan–African Youth Parliament. She once led the youth of Nigeria to the UN in Manhattan, New York, USA on a youth empowerment programme. She has also headed a Nigerian delegation to Istanbul, Turkey, on Peace Resolution and Conflict Management, and instantly got a 100% scholarship from United Nations for a second Masters in Peace Resolution and conflict management.

As a relentless change agent, Dr Chioma’s altruism led to the establishment of High Breed International Academy, Umuahia, where 80% of the pupils are on scholarship by her. As the proprietress of the school, this is her modest contribution to the reduction of the disproportionate number of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Indefatigable and magnanimous, Dr. Ibezim extends her welfare programmes to other charities. For instance, she celebrates her birthday every 23rd of August by securing the discharge of all the women at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, who are stranded because they cannot afford to pay their hospital bills after delivery. She had learnt that some of the women lose their babies, owing to the fact that the hospital environment is suboptimal for neonates. So, she takes it upon herself to negotiate with the hospital authorities for the discharge of the women and their children, parting with money in the process..
Again, she never misses any opportunity to alleviate the burdens of widows. So far, she has empowered and blessed about 24,000 widows in Abia State and beyond and she is not resting on her laurels as she continues to assuage the encumbrances associated with widowhood, especially in the developing world. During Covid, Dr Chioma fed 6 villages.
